Marketing Assistant
Job Type: Part-Time (20 hours per week)
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM Pacific Time
Salary: $600 per month
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to support digital marketing operations and content management for a house design and sales platform. This role involves maintaining and updating several Wordpress websites. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, and skilled in managing both back end and front end using WordPress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update and edit website content using WordPress (ex. GoodLayers Inteco Theme/WPBakery/SiteOrigin/Slider revolution), including updating old posts, converting pages to posts, new post uploads, formatting, and internal linking. Prioritize conversion.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins to match business requirements. Prioritize mobile optimization and fast loading times.
- Add images to posts - resizing if necessary. Update existing posts with better formatting. Update old content. (Texts and access to images will be provided.)
- Monitor website performance metrics, providing regular updates or improvement suggestions.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in responsive, mobile friendly WordPress design, development, site optimization, speed improvement and trouble-shooting.
- 2 years of experience in digital marketing, content management.
- Proficiency in Canva, Grammarly. Video editing is a plus.
- Good English language written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote setup.
- Follow Trello for project management.
