We are looking for a sharp and adaptable Marketing Virtual Assistant to support a solopreneur consultant focused on B2B and B2C marketing and sales projects. The primary focus of this role is optimizing and running a weekly LinkedIn-driven newsletter operation, supporting personal brand content efforts, and taking on additional marketing tasks as the working relationship grows. The ideal candidate is organized, self-directed, and comfortable building and improving processes from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize a weekly newsletter operation run on Kit (formerly ConvertKit)
- Support LinkedIn content campaigns and personal brand promotion efforts
- Help streamline and improve content workflows from drafting to publishing
- Assist with content repurposing across LinkedIn, newsletter, and other channels
- Build and document SOPs for recurring marketing and content tasks
- Coordinate with the consultant to keep the content pipeline on schedule
- Track newsletter performance metrics and suggest optimizations
- Take on additional marketing and administrative tasks as scope expands over time
- Proactively identify tasks that can be systematized or delegated to save time
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven experience as a Marketing VA, Content VA, or similar support role
- Hands-on experience with Kit (ConvertKit) or a comparable email marketing platform (Mailchimp, Substack, Beehiiv, ActiveCampaign)
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn as a content and personal brand platform
- Ability to build, document, and improve SOPs for recurring workflows
- Comfort working independently and managing tasks with minimal oversight
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting solopreneurs, consultants, or B2B service providers
- Familiarity with LinkedIn content strategy, scheduling tools, and analytics
- Working knowledge of AI tools for content drafting, editing, and workflow automation
- Experience with newsletter growth, segmentation, and performance tracking
- Background supporting marketing and sales projects for B2B or B2C clients
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously as responsibilities grow
