Principle Responsibilities

- Design,maintain, and executemanualtest cases and solutions for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Identifyareas suitable for automation and provide input into theselectionof test cases for automation to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Work closely with manual testers and developers to integrate automation into the overall testing process andoptimizetesting efforts.
- Collaborate with QAAutomationteams to ensure new functionalities and changes to existing functionalities are covered and those which are notfeasiblefor automation.
- Design, develop,maintain, and expand scalable and reusable test automation frameworks including data driven frameworks to support efficient testing.
- Focus on continuous test automation enhancements andidentifyareas of improvement.
- Implement steps and strategies to improve test automation practices.
- Performs peer automated test code reviews and optimize test code execution.
- Integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous regression testing.
- Gather and present test automation metrics for the projects to key stakeholders.
- Demonstrate automation solutions to key stakeholders,showcasingvalue and progress.
- Experience working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams with a delivery focus in both project and operational environments.
- Ability to manageowntime and work effectively to meet deadlines.
- Ability to write clear and concise text for different audiences.
- Understanding ofa complex technical Internet environment.
- Testing on a variety of platforms including the latest browsers and mobile devices.
- Manual Support: Perform exploratory or manual testing when automation is notfeasible.
RequiredQualifications
Education:
- 4-year technical degree or equivalenttechnicalcertificationsand/or work experience
RequiredExperience
- 3yearsmanualtesting experience preferred (or similar developer experience) including system testing and UI testing covering all areas of the SDLC.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies and manual software testing.
- Familiaritywith automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, or similar).
- SmartBearTestCompleteand/or Reflect automationexperiencea plus.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainablemanualtest frameworks.
- Familiarity with experience with coding in languages such as C#, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment (Scrum, Kanban).
- Understanding ofSQL queries tovalidatedatabase integrity and backend testing.
