What you will do
- Ensure that 1Aviation's Mission, Vision, and Values are achieved
- Promote and ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, Security, and Customer Service standards in accordance with regulations, laws, industry standards, and company policies
- Lead procurement activities for local and imported goods, services, construction, and bidding processes
- Establish and manage a reliable pool of accredited vendors and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Spearhead supplier negotiations to secure optimal commercial terms and conditions for the company
- Review and endorse purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documents prior to approval
- Develop, review, and update procurement policies, manuals, and procedures to ensure governance and compliance
- Ensure timely acquisition and delivery of materials and supplies required for operations
- Oversee administrative support operations at Head Office to ensure efficiency and alignment with corporate standards
- Maintain supplier contracts database and procurement records
- Prepare and manage unit operational and capital expenditure budgets
- Represent Procurement in cross-functional operational discussions affecting service delivery
- Lead, coach, and develop Procurement and Admin team members
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Head of Finance
An ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications
Required Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accountancy, Business Administration, or any related field
Preferred Experience And Attributes
- Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, contract negotiation, or supply chain management
- Experience managing administrative or office support operations is an advantage
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Solid understanding of procurement governance, policies, and compliance standards
- Financial and budget management exposure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Leadership experience managing teams or cross-functional initiatives
- High integrity and accountability in procurement dealings
- Results-oriented with excellent stakeholder management skills
