Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support and/or lead corporate strategy and planning functions – market, competitive, and technological intelligence, performance management, management offsites and planning sessions.
- Working with ACEN FP&A and BU finance/operations teams, track and consolidate key metrics for decision-making by EMC and Strategy Committee.
- Synthesize company and industry-wide information for effective development of long-term strategies.
- Collaborate with other ACEN business units/departments to complete special projects, achieve corporate priorities or support BU needs, as required.
- Take on day-to-day investor relations management, preparing and owning all investor relations materials – such as but not limited to roadshows, conferences, and quarterly briefings.
- Significantly contribute to polished written/spoken content that articulate ACEN's strategy and performance – such as but not limited to those by the Chairman, President/CEO, and other senior executives, content for the Integrated report, and other avenues/forums as required.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Management, Economics, Engineering (fields relevant to energy), Accounting, or Communications
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree preferred
- 5-10 years total work experience or 2-4 years post-graduate school
- Preferred fields: strategy and management consulting, corporate finance, equity research, exposure to energy operations or sustainability is a plus but not required
- Excellent all-around hard (MS Office suite) and soft (oral and written communication, ability to engage with senior management, gravitas for his/her level) skills
- Ideally with proven or demonstrated business writing skills – for investor relations
- With solid understanding of typical business financials (does not have to be energy specifically)
- Willingness and ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- For his/her level, possesses the gravitas and sophistication to engage with senior leadership, boards, partners, and investors
