JOB ROLE
The Management Accounting Assistant Manager plays a dual role as a Finance Business Partner and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) lead, supporting the Head of Management Accounting in overseeing financial performance across all brands. This position is responsible for driving budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis while partnering closely with operational and commercial teams to provide strategic financial insights. The role ensures alignment of brand-level initiatives with group financial objectives and supports data-driven decision-making at the corporate level.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning (FP&A) processes across all brands.
- Act as a Finance Business Partner to brand and functional leaders, providing financial insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Consolidate and analyze financial performance, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities across business units.
- Assist in preparing group-level management reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
- Provide variance analysis and actionable recommendations to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
- Ensure consistency in financial reporting standards, templates, and KPIs across all brands.
- Collaborate closely with operations, marketing, and strategy teams to evaluate business cases, investments, and initiatives.
- Support the development and monitoring of financial KPIs and performance metrics.
- Strengthen financial governance by ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and reporting requirements.
- Assist in mentoring junior team members and driving continuous improvement in financial processes and tools.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in management accounting, FP&A, or finance business partnering.
- Proven experience supporting multiple business units or brands is an advantage.
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis skills.
- Experience in business partnering, with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial systems, advanced Excel, and BI/reporting tools.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.
