Job Description

A Store Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the installation, repair, and upkeep of store equipment and facilities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This role involves conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance on kitchen equipment, refrigeration units, and other machinery, as well as handling general repairs in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and minor civil works.

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field, preferably in a food service or retail environment.
  • College diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration, technical course or facility management will be an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and safety protocols.
  • Must have profound knowledge in general maintenance and repair electrical, mechanical, electronics, civil works, etc.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results and maintaining cleanliness standards.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Willing to contribute to the success of our food kiosk, carts and/or stores by ensuring operational efficiency, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.

  • Store Maintenance Specialist are reliable to oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the companys store equipment, outlets or facilities.
  • Administer departmental personnel to have the best physical resources available to complete their duties according to budget as well.
  • Store Maintenance Specialist will have a solid understanding of plumbing, kinds of equipment, technical skills and electrical systems as well as carpentry or other crafts.
  • Should be well-versed in all maintenance processes and health & safety regulations.
  • Must have aptitude in undertaking administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting, cost control, preventive maintenance, schedule plotting, etc.
  • The goal is to ensure the company store equipment and facilities are well-cared for and adequate to support the companys business operations.
  • Tracking expenses and progress so the company know when something needs fixing based on periodic evaluations and inspections.
