The LPG Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that Peak Fuel Corporation and its LPG dealer network comply with all applicable regulatory requirements governing LPG operations, particularly those issued by the Department of Energy (DOE) and other relevant regulatory authorities. The role will manage regulatory documentation, licensing processes, and compliance monitoring related to LPG operations. This includes overseeing regulatory requirements for both the company's internal operations and its accredited LPG dealers, ensuring that all permits, licenses, and regulatory obligations are properly secured, documented, and maintained to support compliant and uninterrupted business operations.
The LPG Compliance Officer plays a critical role in managing and supporting regulatory compliance requirements for Peak Fuel Corporation's LPG operations and its expanding dealer network. The position will oversee the preparation, coordination, and monitoring of regulatory permits and licenses required for the company's LPG business activities, as well as those required for newly onboarded LPG dealers. The role will guide dealers through the regulatory permitting process, particularly those issued by the Department of Energy, by assisting in the preparation and submission of required documentation and ensuring compliance with applicable safety and operational standards. In addition, the LPG Compliance Officer will ensure that Peak Fuel Corporation maintains full regulatory compliance for its own LPG operations, including monitoring permit validity, managing regulatory filings, and ensuring timely renewal of licenses and certifications required by government agencies.
The LPG Compliance Officer will coordinate with regulatory bodies, maintain accurate documentation of regulatory approvals, and ensure that both internal operations and dealer activities comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements. The position requires coordination with internal departments such as Marketing and Trade, Business Development, Sales, Operations, and Legal to support regulatory compliance across the LPG business.
The role is primarily office-based but may require occasional field visits to dealer sites or government offices in Metro Manila and nearby regions to facilitate regulatory compliance processes.
1. Regulatory Compliance for Peak Fuel Corporation
• Ensure that Peak Fuel Corporation maintains all required regulatory permits, licenses, and
certifications necessary for its LPG operations.
• Monitor the validity and renewal schedules of company permits and ensure timely submission
of renewal applications.
• Maintain organized records of regulatory filings, approvals, and compliance documentation
related to the company's operations.
• Assist in ensuring that company facilities and operational activities comply with applicable LPG
regulatory and safety standards.
2. Dealer Licensing and Regulatory Compliance
• Assist newly onboarded LPG dealers in securing regulatory permits and licenses required for
LPG operations, particularly those issued by the Department of Energy.
• Prepare, review, and compile documentation required for dealer licensing applications.
• Guide dealers in understanding LPG regulatory requirements and ensure completeness and
accuracy of documentation prior to submission.
• Monitor and track the progress of permit applications and coordinate follow-ups with regulatory
authorities when necessary.
3. Regulatory Coordination and Government Liaison
• Coordinate with the Department of Energy and other relevant regulatory bodies regarding
licensing applications, clarifications, and compliance requirements.
• Submit regulatory documentation and permit applications to appropriate government agencies as required.
• Monitor regulatory updates affecting LPG operations and assist in ensuring company
compliance with new or revised regulations.
4. Dealer Site Compliance Support
• Conduct site visits when necessary to assist in verifying compliance of dealer facilities with
applicable LPG safety and regulatory standards.
• Provide guidance on corrective actions required for dealers to achieve regulatory compliance
prior to permit approval.
5. Internal LPG Regulatory Compliance
• Assist in ensuring that Peak Fuel Corporation maintains all required operational permits and
regulatory documentation for its LPG business activities.
• Monitor validity and renewal schedules of permits and regulatory approvals.
• Maintain organized records of regulatory filings, approvals, and compliance documents.
6. Compliance Documentation and Monitoring
• Maintain a centralized database or tracking system for dealer licensing status and regulatory
compliance documentation.
• Track permit expiration dates and ensure timely processing of renewals when required.
• Prepare internal reports related to regulatory compliance and licensing status when necessary.
7. Cross-Functional Coordination
• Work closely with the Marketing and Trade team in supporting dealer onboarding and
regulatory compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with Business Development, Sales, Operations, and Legal teams on regulatory
matters affecting LPG operations.
IV. SPECIAL FEATURES
The LPG Compliance Officer will work closely with:
• Works closely with Marketing and Trade, Business Development, Sales, Sales Admin, Operations, and Legal to ensure regulatory compliance across Peak Fuel's LPG operations and dealer network.
• Coordinates with government regulatory agencies, particularly the Department of Energy (DOE), for licensing, regulatory submissions, and compliance monitoring.
• Supports both internal company regulatory compliance and dealer licensing requirements as
part of the LPG business operations.
• Role is structured to limit direct commercial interaction with dealers, with dealer coordination
primarily handled through the Marketing and Trade team to minimize corruption risks and ensure proper governance.
• May require occasional travel for regulatory coordination, site verification, and compliance
activities.
