Job Requirements

  • Filipino citizenship preferred; must be based in Manila, Philippines.
  • Proven experience in business development, partnership management, or sales within payments, fintech, banking, or financial services.
  • Mandatory: Established, existing networks with major Philippine banks (BDO, BPI, UnionBank, etc.) and/or leading third-party payment companies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-driven, independent, and strongly results-oriented.
  • Preferred: Basic understanding of technical concepts such as API integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate potential thirdparty payment partners and banking institutions across the Philippines.
  • Lead end-to-end negotiations and finalize agreements covering commercial terms, technical integration, and SLAs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for payment partners, manage long-term relationships, and ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Monitor local payment market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to capture opportunities and mitigate risks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese to communicate effectively with headquarters and core team.
  • Experience in merchant acquiring at a bank or with a leading payment service provider (PSP).
