Loan Processor

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for processing and maintaining loan-related transactions for Corporate Banking, Branches, and Remedial Management accounts. Ensures all loan instructions and supporting documents comply with approved credit terms, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process loan bookings, releases, renewals, restructurings, and rollovers.
• Verify loan documentation and ensure compliance with approved credit terms.
• Record and maintain loan transactions in the bank's core systems.
• Process loan principal and interest payments, adjustments, and repricing.
• Prepare and issue loan-related documents, including promissory notes, statements of account, billing statements, certifications, credit/debit memos, and official receipts.
• Coordinate with business units and internal departments to ensure complete and accurate loan processing.
• Monitor due loans, payment schedules, regulatory requirements, and required client submissions.
• Process Real and Other Properties Acquired (ROPA) transactions through foreclosure or dacion.
• Prepare operational and regulatory reports and monitor suspense accounts and past-due loans.
• Maintain accurate records, document filing, and digital archiving of loan transactions.
• Respond to inquiries from branches and business units and perform other duties assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in loans processing, banking operations, or related financial services roles preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document review and transaction processing.
• Knowledge of loan operations, documentation, accounting entries, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in banking systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
