Job Description: Liaison Officer

The Liaison Officer serves as the primary representative of the company in dealing with various government agencies and offices. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, facilitates smooth business processes, and manages applications related to employment permits and visas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Government Coordination
  • Act as the companys point of contact with government offices such as DOLE, Bureau of Immigration, and other relevant agencies.
  • Submit, follow up, and secure approvals for permits, licenses, and certifications.
  • DOLE Alien Employment Permit (AEP)
  • Prepare and process applications for AEPs for foreign employees.
  • Ensure timely renewal and compliance with DOLE regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of AEP applications and approvals.
  • Bureau of Immigration Visa Processing
  • Handle visa applications, extensions, and conversions for foreign employees.
  • Coordinate with immigration officers to ensure smooth processing.
  • Monitor visa validity and ensure timely renewals to avoid penalties.
  • Business Process Support
  • Assist in securing clearances, certifications, and other documents required for company operations.
  • Ensure compliance with labor, immigration, and business regulations.
  • Provide updates to management on the status of applications and regulatory changes.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain organized files of all government transactions.
  • Prepare periodic reports on permits, visas, and compliance matters.
  • Track deadlines and proactively manage renewals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Legal Management, or related field.
  • At least 23 years of experience in government liaison work, preferably with DOLE and Bureau of Immigration.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor and immigration laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping.
