Job Summary:
The Legal Associate is responsible for providing legal support to the organization by handling legal documentation, contracts, compliance matters, and assisting in dispute resolution. This role ensures that the company operates within the law and minimizes legal risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and revise contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Provide legal advice to management on corporate, labor, and commercial matters
- Ensure company compliance with local laws and regulations
- Handle legal research and prepare legal opinions
- Coordinate with external counsel when necessary
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, hearings, or negotiations (if required)
- Assist in dispute resolution and settlement processes
- Maintain legal records and documentation
- Support HR in labor-related concerns and employee disciplinary cases
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB or JD)
- 12 years of experience in corporate or law firm setting (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of corporate, labor, and commercial law
- Excellent drafting and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
