About the Role

Responsible for creating innovative and engaging learning experiences tailored to the needs of diverse audience will need to leverage expertise in instructional design, educational technology, and adult learning principles and collaborate with SMEs to develop impactful learning solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Instructional Design

  • Create engaging and effective instructional materials such as presentation decks, handouts, interactive modules, etc
  • Write clear, concise, and learner-friendly instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
  • Use instructional design systems to analyse learning needs and decide on relevant learning outcomes
  • Determine the best approach and mode of instruction for supporting learners in achieving the target learning outcomes
  • Train internal and/or external facilitators on how to deliver the learning solution

UX Design

  • Bring content to life and translate human emotions into engaging learning experiences (regardless of the learning modality)
  • Participate in usability testing
  • Create user stories, prototypes, style guides, and design specifications
  • Conceptualize and produce a wide variety of instructional media elements that are used to improve course content and assist user learning
  • Actively support learning pilots, facilitate train-the-trainer sessions and observation exercises to ensure learning efficiency and identify vital interventions

Content Design

  • Determine the variety of content that needs to be sourced based on identified learners needs
  • Upload accurate documents and/or source files to the internal content library as per established guidelines
  • Map out information architecture and taxonomy based on identified content to be sourced and influence the scope and sequence of learning topics
  • Research learning tools and platforms that may be used to improve delivery of learning solutions
  • Evaluate content feedback and recommend improvement points

Data Analysis

  • Model workflows
  • Gather, analyse, and interpret data to influence design decisions on learning experience
  • Track and analyse facilitator and course performance trends and translate these findings into actions to meet both learning and business goals
  • Develop assessments that measure defined learner outcomes based on Kirkpatrick's Levels of Evaluation Project Management
  • Report achievements and risks to project leads

Project Management

  • Lead and maintain weekly current project status, project timelines and review cycles, and report status to partners

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Psychology, IT, Business Management, Education
  • Industry: Learning and Development Finance or Insurance
  • At Least 2 years experience in tasks related to training, learning, or human development at least 2 years experience working in Finance or Insurance industry.
  • Technical Skills: MS Office, Content Authoring Tools
  • Certifications/ Licenses: Not required but preferred to have certification in Instructional Design, UX design or Project Management
