Role Summary
This position is responsible for performing bookkeeping functions for a portfolio of small business clients in the U.S. Responsibilities include maintaining accounting system records by completing recurring bookkeeping processes and preparing schedules.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to manage multiple, competing priorities driven by client needs while consistently maintaining high-quality work and customer service standards.
Location: Must be residing in the Philippines Remote.
Environment: Philippines and International Teams.
Language: Advanced English (B2+ - C1).
Timezone: 8:00 to 5:00 pm MST
Employment Type: Full-time.
Essential Functions
- Perform routine accounting procedures, including bank, credit card, and payroll reconciliations; Accounts Receivable (A/R); Accounts Payable (A/P); and other accounting-related tasks as requested by clients.
- Communicate open items or anomalies to Staff Accountants and follow up to ensure full resolution.
- Review bank transactions and flag unidentified or unusual transactions to the Accountant or Accounting Lead.
- Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation of reconciliation items in workpapers.
- Contribute to department and team projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- 01 year of bookkeeping experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Solid problem-solving and time management abilities.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable using technology.
- Ability to work autonomously as a self-directed, independent contributor.
