Job Overview

The FP&A Analyst will support the organization's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. This role plays a key part in delivering accurate, timely, and actionable insights to support business decision-making.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proficient in advanced Excel, including automation and formula optimization. Experience working in collaborative, cloud-based environments and leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based financial models and templates for planning and performance tracking
  • Automate recurring reporting processes using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, lookup formulas, macros, Power Automate, etc.)
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Support business decision-making through scenario modelling and what-if analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and align financial assumptions
  • Consolidate data from multiple sources using cloud-based tools (Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel Online, etc.)
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reports and deliverables
  • Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for financial models and reporting templates
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, or similar) to improve efficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and automation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 2–3+ years of experience in FP&A, financial reporting, or business analysis
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting)
  • Experience with Excel automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, macros)
  • Exposure to or experience with AI tools for productivity and analysis (e.g., Copilot, Claude) is highly preferred
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting cycles, and forecasting principles
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
