Easmed is hiring a junior Finance Executive who will be working alongside a Senior Finance Executive to manage the company's accounting functions, financial reporting, payroll processing, regulatory compliance, and administrative support. The role ensures accurate financial records, timely payroll processing, compliance with statutory requirements, and coordination of corporate administrative matters such as license renewals and government filings.
This role also provides shared services support to The Air Station, ensuring smooth financial coordination and administrative alignment across the entities in the Philippines.
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Maintain accurate general ledger and accounting records
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and company policies
- Assist in senior finance executive in preparing financial statements and supporting schedules
Payroll Management
- Process monthly payroll including salary, commission, allowances, and deductions
- Process statutory contributions and remittance to relevant government agencies
- Maintain payroll records and employee compensation data
- Prepare payroll reports and ensure compliance with labour regulations
- Coordinate with HR or management regarding payroll updates and employee benefits
Tax Compliance & Government Filings
- Prepare and submit tax returns to the Bureau of Internal Revenue
- Handle VAT filings, withholding taxes, and corporate income tax requirements
- Maintain proper documentation for tax audits and regulatory reviews
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax consultants when required
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Oversee processing of vendor invoices and payments
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances
- Maintain accurate vendor and customer records
Administrative & Corporate Compliance
- Manage company administrative matters, including corporate filings
- Business permit and license renewals
- Coordination with government agencies
- Maintenance of statutory company documents
- Maintain corporate records, contracts, and compliance documents
Audit & Internal Controls
- Support internal and external audits
- Ensure proper documentation and audit trails for financial transactions
- Recommend improvements to accounting and administrative processes
Budgeting & Financial Support
- Assist management with budget preparation and financial analysis
- Monitor expenses against budget and highlight variances
- Provide financial insights to support operational decision making
Shared Services Support
- Provide finance and administrative shared services support to The Air Station where required
- Coordinate financial information, documentation, and administrative matters between entities to ensure operational alignment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in accounting and finance
- Experience handling payroll and government compliance in the Philippines is required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities (finance + administration)
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
