Role Overview
The Junior Architect will support the delivery of global workplace projects through design development, coordination, and technical support. This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable balancing design, modelling, and coordination support in a dynamic project environment.
The role supports high-volume, fast-paced project delivery across global teams, working closely with regional teams across SEA, North America, EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Technical Support
- Support spatial planning, layout development, and interior design packages for workplace projects.
- Assist in preparing technical drawings and schedules in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Develop and support SketchUp models and visualization outputs for design studies and client presentations.
- Translate design inputs into coordinated drawings under guidance from senior team members, with attention to turnaround timelines.
Documentation & Deliverables
- Support preparation of drawing sets, presentations, and client deliverables.
- Support fast-paced coordination workflows by addressing comments and updates efficiently across multiple project streams.
- Assist in maintaining drawing accuracy and data hygiene as per project standards.
- Support coordination with MEP and other disciplines to ensure design consistency and buildability.
- Assist in drawing integration, clash detection and issue tracking.
- Support the use of AI tools (e.g. for documentation, visualization, and workflow optimization) to enhance design and technical workflows.
Learning & Development
- Actively participate in internal training on workplace standards, BIM workflows and AIBIM processes.
- Learn through hands-on project involvement, adapting to real-time coordination and delivery requirements.
- Develop understanding of global standards, best practices, and workplace design principles across regions.
- Willingness to explore and adopt AI tools to enhance design and technical workflows.
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture
Experience:
- 1–3 years of professional experience in architecture or interior projects (workplace exposure preferred).
Technical Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Basic understanding of architectural documentation and coordination workflows.
- Exposure to basic Revit workflow is an advantage.
- Exposure to Enscape/Lumion is an advantage.
Soft Skills:
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Detail-oriented with a structured working approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across projects.
- Interest in developing coordination and project support skills within a global delivery setup.
