Job Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Junior Accountant to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will be supporting accounting operations for US-based customers, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards.
- Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and expense reports.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy of financial data and reporting.
- Handle ad-hoc accounting tasks and support both internal and external audits.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of one (1) year of general accounting experience.
- US accounting experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with US GAAP is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work onsite during fixed night shift hours to align with US business hours - 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Central.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting US-based clients or companies.
- Knowledge of US tax regulations and compliance standards.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
