Your Role
As a Junior Accountant, you will:
- Supporting the production of monthly financial reporting
packages within required deadlines
- Book keeping and general accounting using accounting
software
- Prepares accurate account reconciliations, with supporting
documentations
- Processing accounts payable, intercompany charges, payroll
and staff expenses
- Maintain accurate records of customers and invoices in
accounting software
Additional Responsibilities Include
- Contribute to the development of work, management and
quality control processes
- Contribute to the development and documentation of process
maps, procedures and policies to support consistent work
practices and training material for the PSC Group
- Contribute to program of continuous improvement
What You Need
Non-negotiables
- Experience in accounts payable and payroll processing, associated taxations and superannuation
- Experience in preparing journals and posting financial transactions, preferably in an accounting software program
- Experience in financial services or insurance industry advantageous
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in the related field is required
- Has good communication and coordination skills
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/ College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Commerce or equivalent. Non CPA will be considered
