The Qualifications We Seek

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is essential
• 2 years Australian experience in chartered accounting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Technical knowledge and proven experience in tax and accounting compliance
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Solid time management skills and attention to detail
• Experience using cloud-based systems
• Passion for ensuring a high standard of deliverables to clients
• Keen interest in business or taxation law
• Experience working with Xero practice management will be an advantage

Your Daily Tasks

• Attend to tax compliance and reporting requirements for clients
• Prepare Individual tax returns, BAS/IAS
• Prepare basic financial statements for companies, trusts, and partnerships
• Prepare workpapers, reconciliations, and save documents to ensure compliance
• Follow instructions while working independently
• Research and resolve issues associated with client work
• Demonstrate understanding of various entity structures and associated implications
• Support junior and graduate accountants with their learning
