As an AU Intermediate Accountant, you are the cornerstone of our client service delivery. Moving beyond foundational tasks, you will take ownership of complex compliance requirements, bridging the gap between raw data and professional financial insights for our Australian partners.
Your Impact
- End-to-End Compliance Mastery: Drive the preparation of comprehensive financial statements, BAS, IAS, and tax returns for a diverse portfolio, including individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
- Meticulous File Finalization: Ensure reporting excellence by performing detailed reconciliations and preparing high-quality workpapers, collaborating closely with Senior Accountants to finalize jobs to Australian standards.
- Operational Leadership: Elevate team productivity by utilizing cloud accounting software to its full potential while providing essential support and reviews for junior team members tasks.
What You Bring
- Experience: A minimum of 3–4+ years of experience within an Australian public practice accounting firm is essential.
- Technical Expertise: A solid, working knowledge of Australian tax rules, compliance standards, and the ability to manage a job workflow with minimal supervision.
- The Toolkit: Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, or other major Australian accounting platforms, combined with a high degree of attention to detail.
