Role: Intermediate Tax Accountant
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Location: Philippines - Pampanga (Angeles)
Schedule: Morning shift
Job description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
- Prepares clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed
- Prepares management accounts
- Helps identify accounting issues
- Applies basic Australian tax compliance procedures
- Assists with Australian tax planning for clients
- Prepare Australian income tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships and trusts
- Completes requisite regulatory forms
- Complies with lodgement program by meeting lodgement dates and requirements.
Qualification and requirements:
Education Requirements:
- Essential
- Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major
- Desirable
- Commencement of CPA or equivalent
Demonstrated Experience & Attributes:
- Essential
- 2-3 years in a similar role
- Preferable experience with Xero
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Non-negotiable skills & requirements:
- 2-3 years in a similar role
- Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major
