Overview of Role:
The Instructional Designer/Learning Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality learning experiences that support organizational goals and workforce capability development. This role focuses on end-to-end curriculum design, content development, and digital learning delivery through an LMS, ensuring learning solutions are engaging, effective, and scalable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop end-to-end learning curricula aligned with business objectives and performance needs
- Create engaging learning content across multiple modalities, including e-learning, instructor-led training, blended learning, and microlearning
- Develop instructional materials such as storyboards, scripts, facilitator guides, learner workbooks, and assessments
- Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) and key stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective learning solutions
- Manage, upload, and maintain course content within the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Monitor learner progress and engagement through LMS reporting and analytics
- Review assessment results and learner feedback to continuously improve learning programs
- Ensure all learning solutions follow instructional design best practices and adult learning principles
- Maintain consistency, quality, and scalability of learning programs across the organization
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in instructional design, learning design, or curriculum development
- Strong writing, editing, and content development skills
- Hands-on experience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Storyline, Rise)
- Solid understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Effective project management and time management abilities
Added Value / Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Docebo LMS (strong advantage) or other LMS platforms
- Working knowledge of SCORM and xAPI standards
- Experience in multimedia content development, including video, audio, and basic graphic design
- Ability to analyze learning data and translate insights into actionable improvements
