The HR Officer is responsible for supporting and implementing various human resources functions, such as talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, training and development, payroll processing, compliance, and performance management. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a thorough understanding of HR policies, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Industrial Relations and Compliance
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
• Handle employee misconduct or policy violations in accordance with company guidelines and legal requirement
• Conduct awareness sessions for employees on company policies and workplace expectations.
• Coordinate with the benefits team in handling documentation and reporting related to statutory requirements (e.g., tax filings, social security).
Agency Management
• Act as the primary liaison with third-party manpower agencies.
• Ensure contracts with manpower agencies are up to date and compliant with labor laws.
• Monitor agency performance to ensure the provision of quality services.
Minimum Requirements
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
• At least 3-5 years of experience in an HR generalist or officer role.
• Experience in payroll processing, recruitment, industrial relations, or employee relations is a plus.
