Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations & Performance Management

  • Handle employee relations concerns, workplace conflicts, and policy violations.
  • Guide managers on disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans (PIPs).
  • Support performance reviews and promote a respectful, compliant work environment.

Employee Lifecycle Administration

  • Manage promotions, job changes, compensation updates, and terminations.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance during employee separations.
  • Conduct exit interviews and maintain accurate employment records.

Compliance & HR Administration

  • Ensure compliance with US employment laws and HR policies.
  • Maintain employee records in HRIS and generate HR reports (turnover, headcount, trends).
  • Support audits, regulatory reporting, and HR process improvements.

Culture & Strategic HR Support

  • Support employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and company events.
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning and HR strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to improve employee morale, retention, and HR processes.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 35 years of HR experience, preferably in an HR Generalist or HR Operations role.
  • Experience handling employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.
  • Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes (promotions, compensation changes, terminations).
  • Experience supporting US-based companies or US HR processes is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of US labor laws and employment regulations (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, EEOC, ADA).
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, workplace investigations, and disciplinary processes.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and HR data management.
  • Strong communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze HR data and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms, payroll systems, and HR reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, particularly Excel/Sheets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
  • Experience supporting remote or global teams.
  • Experience with employee engagement and culture initiatives.
