Job Description
Job Summary
The Performance Audit Officer is responsible for monitoring and evaluating hotel operations and HR processes to ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, service standards, and performance targets. The role conducts operational and HR audits, reviews departmental performance and manpower practices, identifies gaps and control issues, and recommends improvements to enhance operational efficiency, employee productivity, and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular operational and HR audits across hotel departments.
- Review compliance with hotel SOPs, HR policies, and company standards.
- Monitor departmental KPIs, employee productivity, attendance, and manpower utilization.
- Conduct spot checks to validate actual practices against established procedures.
- Identify operational, HR, and process gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations.
- Coordinate with Department Heads and HR to address audit findings and monitor corrective actions.
- Conduct follow-up audits to ensure proper implementation and sustainability of improvements.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information, audit findings, and company records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in hotel operations, HR, internal audit, quality assurance, compliance, or performance management.
- Hotel or hospitality experience is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, HR policies, SOPs, and departmental KPIs.
- Strong analytical, observation, documentation, and report-writing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, objectivity, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and conduct audits across different hotel departments.
