The HR Generalist is responsible for leading the companys staffing efforts while supporting core human resource functions. This role plays a key part in building a strong workforce aligned with organizational goals by managing full-cycle recruitment and providing support across HR operations, including employee relations, compliance, and performance management. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of recruitment strategies, HR best practices, and labor laws, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives, systems, and policies
- Assist in onboarding, training, and development programs
- Support performance management processes and evaluations
- Maintain and safekeep employee records (201 and 203 files)
- Monitor employee concerns and complaints; ensure timely follow-up and resolution
- Provide administrative support to different departments as needed
- Coordinate with teams to address HR-related issues
- Handle disciplinary actions, grievance procedures, and investigations
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulations
- Assist in government compliance requirements (permits, certificates, and licenses)
- Review employment practices and working conditions for legal compliance
- Partner with leadership on talent strategy, workforce planning, and succession planning
- Stay updated on HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes
- Support daily HR operations and workflow
- Participate in disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with company policies
Job Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Tagalog
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems (HRIS/ATS preferred)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity
- Must be willing to work onsite in Makati City
