Job Description

An HR Officer is responsible for supporting the companys human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, records management, and compliance with company policies and labor laws. They help ensure smooth HR operations and maintain a positive work environment for employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment and hiring process, including sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews
  • Prepare onboarding requirements and orient new employees
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
  • Monitor attendance, leave applications, and timekeeping
  • Assist in payroll preparation and government mandatory benefits processing
  • Implement company policies and disciplinary procedures
  • Handle employee concerns and support employee relations activities
  • Coordinate training, seminars, and employee engagement programs
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company regulations
  • Prepare HR reports, memos, and other documentation
  • Support performance evaluation and employee development programs
  • Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or any related field
  • With experience in HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, payroll, or administrative tasks is an advantage
  • Knowledgeable in labor laws and HR practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
  • Willing to work onsite and render overtime if needed

Preferred Skills

  • Experience building operational systems in a growing company
  • Familiarity with performance management frameworks
  • Process-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to balance people management with operational execution

Work Location: Unit 9, Meerea High Street, Ouano Avenue, Reclamation Area, Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
