Position Overview:
An established academic institution is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee and strengthen its HR operations. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in human resources, capable of supporting both academic and administrative teams while fostering a positive and compliant work environment.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of human resources, including hiring, onboarding, employee engagement, and performance evaluation
- Design, update, and implement HR policies in alignment with institutional standards and regulations
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and education-related compliance requirements
- Drive recruitment initiatives to attract qualified faculty and staff
- Administer compensation structures, benefits programs, and retention strategies
- Advise leadership and department heads on HR policies, employee concerns, and organizational development
- Address employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Maintain organized and confidential HR documentation and reporting systems
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience serving as an HR Manager
- At least five (5) years of progressive experience within a Human Resources function
- Background in an academic or corporate environment is essential
- Strong understanding of HR systems, employment laws, and best practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline (advanced degree is an advantage)
