Job Description

Nature of Employment: Full Time

Working Setup: Hybrid

Location: Makati City

Working Schedule: Mid Shift

Role Overview:

The Head of Human Resources, Philippines is the most senior HR leader in the country. This is a role for someone who builds things, who can assess what exists, define what is needed, establish the right team and structures, and elevate HR into a function that the business genuinely relies on.

The incumbent will own the people agenda for the Philippines Center end-to-end: from the moment a person joins through every stage of their career, until the day they leave. They will govern the full HR operating model, compensation and benefits, performance, employee relations, compliance, global mobility, HRIS, and organizational development , delivering outcomes through a team they build and lead, not by doing everything themselves.

This is a role that demands authority, judgment, and presence. The Head of HR will sit at the leadership table, shape business decisions, and be the voice that ensures people considerations are never an afterthought.

Qualifications:

  • 10–14 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4–5 years having led an HR function or HR team not just worked within one.
  • Demonstrated track record of building or significantly reshaping an HR function in a multinational, GCC, shared services, or BPO environment in the Philippines.
  • A leader who has navigated a DOLE inspection, an NLRC case, or a significant labor dispute and came out with the organization's integrity intact.
  • Experience managing internationally mobile employees or expatriate populations, either in-house or in close partnership with external counsel.
  • Comfortable operating at both the strategic and governance level and also know exactly where the compliance gaps are.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Preferably has a Master's degree in HR, Industrial Relations, or Business Administration (MBA).
