One of the Philippines most established local banks is seeking a distinguished leader to serve as the Head of HR Business Partnership. This executive role is pivotal in aligning human capital strategies with the overarching business objectives of a top-tier domestic financial institution with an expanding regional presence.
We are currently seeking qualified candidates to lead their HRBP teams in each of their primary hubs: Metro Manila, Davao, and Cagayan de Oro (CDO).
Executive Mandate
As a key leader within the Human Resources division, you will be responsible for spearheading a high-caliber team of HR partners who serve as strategic consultants to their diverse business units. The mandate involves transitioning HR from an operational pillar to a proactive architect of organizational success across their major corporate hubs and international operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Strategic Governance: Establish and maintain the standards for HR partnership across the enterprise, ensuring that people strategies are integrated with the bank's growth and operational priorities across all regional centers.
- Executive Advisory: Act as a senior consultant to management committees and business heads, providing high-level counsel on organizational design, leadership development, and workforce effectiveness.
- Leadership Development: Cultivate a high-performing team of HR professionals, fostering expertise in business acumen, change management, and executive coaching.
- Insights-Driven Decision Making: Champion the use of workforce metrics and organizational data to identify risks, diagnose trends, and inform long-term strategic planning.
- Organizational Resilience: Guide the workforce through complex transitions, including digital transformation initiatives and leadership successions, ensuring stability and engagement throughout.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have an understanding of the intersection between human capital and business performance within a regulated local and international banking environment.
- Professional Experience: At least 12–15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with a significant tenure in senior partnership roles within the financial services sector or large, complex corporate structures.
- Strategic Acumen: A proven ability to interpret business challenges and translate them into robust organizational interventions.
- Team Leadership: Extensive experience in managing and developing seasoned HR professionals across multi-functional areas and geographical regions.
- Analytical Proficiency: Strong capability in utilizing data to drive influence and achieve institutional alignment.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the presence required to influence senior executives and navigate complex organizational hierarchies.
