Job Summary
The Head of HR leads the overall human resources function, driving strategic people initiatives that align with business objectives and support organizational growth. This role oversees talent management, organizational development, employee relations, workforce planning, and HR operations to build a high-performing and engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Leadership
- Develops and executes HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and business priorities
- Serves as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on all people-related matters
- Leads the overall HR function, ensuring operational excellence and strategic impact
Talent Management
- Oversees end-to-end talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning strategies
- Drives leadership development and employee capability-building programs
- Ensures strong performance management systems and career development frameworks
Organizational Development
- Leads organizational design and workforce planning initiatives
- Drives culture-building and employee engagement programs
- Oversees change management initiatives to support business transformation
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Ensures fair and consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Oversees employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes
- Ensures compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal governance standards
HR Operations & Process Excellence
- Oversees HR systems, processes, and service delivery
- Drives HR process improvements and digital transformation initiatives
- Monitors HR metrics and analytics to support data-driven decision-making
Stakeholder Management
- Partners with business leaders to address workforce challenges and strategic talent needs
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support organizational initiatives
- Builds trusted relationships across all levels of the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
- MBA or postgraduate degree is an advantage
- At least 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, with significant leadership exposure
- Proven experience leading HR strategy and managing full-spectrum HR functions
- Strong background in talent management, organizational development, and employee relations
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capability
- Experience with HRIS platforms and HR analytics tools is an advantage
