Position Summary
This diverse role will provide proactive and value-adding service across the full suite of HR generalist activities as well as talent initiatives for our diverse team. The APAC HR team support employees across Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, China, Australia, and New Zealand.
Responsibilities
- Consults with management, providing HR guidance and strategic solutions when appropriate.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management (coaching, counseling, career development and disciplinary actions).
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Attend various meetings in the absence of the manager
Requirements
Experience
- 10 + years broad based HR experience with at least 3 years operating at a senior level
- Have a high level of experience and understanding of local and country specific labor laws, with experience of mentoring junior members of the team
Knowledge & Skill
- Has in-depth knowledge of all aspects of human resources, providing expert advise and guidance.
- Experience of managing and investigating complex employee relations issues
