• Corporate HR Manager
Job summary:
Lead the centralized HR function for a family-owned group with multiple companies in both Cebu and Gensan. You will design and implement group-level HR policies, lead organization design and workforce strategy, and establish consistent HR governance across subsidiaries. Ensure statutory compliance and build scalable people systems to support growth and succession.
Key responsibilities
• Group HR strategy & governance
◦ Develop and implement a group-wide HR strategy aligned to the owners business objectives and values.
◦ Create and enforce family employment policies and conflict-of-interest guidelines.
• Policy development & harmonization
◦ Draft, review and roll out group HR policies (employment, compensation & benefits, leave, disciplinary, remote/hybrid, data privacy, code of conduct).
◦ Standardize employment contracts, offer letters, and handbook content across entities while allowing valid local variations.
• Organization design & workforce planning
◦ Lead organizational design for the group and subsidiaries: role architecture, span of control, grading, and career paths.
◦ Conduct workforce planning and headcount budgeting aligned to business plans and succession objectives.
◦ Design and implement succession planning for key and family roles.
• Talent management & development
◦ Implement performance management frameworks, competencies, talent reviews and leadership development programs.
◦ Establish competency models and career frameworks to support mobility across group companies.
• Compensation, benefits & payroll oversight
◦ Develop group compensation philosophy, pay structures, incentive schemes and benefits programs appropriate to each entity.
◦ Oversee payroll delivery (vendor or in-house) and ensure timely statutory filings (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and compliance (13th month, statutory leaves).
• Employee relations & culture
◦ Provide advice on employee relations, conflict resolution, disciplinary cases and separations in line with Philippine labor law.
◦ Drive employee engagement, internal communications and initiatives that reinforce group culture and family values.
• HR systems & reporting
◦ Lead selection/implementation of HRIS suitable for multi-entity reporting and analytics.
◦ Produce regular HR dashboards and insights for owners and senior leaders (headcount, turnover, cost, critical roles).
• Stakeholder management & capacity building
◦ Serve as primary HR partner to the owner-family, Group CEO/COO and subsidiary leaders.
◦ Build capability of HR staff at subsidiary level; lead and mentor HR leads where applicable.
◦ Coordinate with Finance, Legal and external advisors (labor counsel, payroll vendors).
Minimum skills:
*8 years in HR Management role.
*Experience building/creating the whole structure of Human Resources department.
*Trustworthy and confidential mindset.
*Strategic skills and problem-solving.
*Willing to travel once in a while to Gensan.
