The opportunity

We are looking for someone to own revenue and scale the sales organization at Buhay. The candidate will lead our sales function-setting strategy, designing processes, and driving deals through the pipeline. This role reports directly to the CEO.

This is a hands-on leadership role centered around organizing the team, scaling systems that drive sales, and personally unblocking deals when needed. You'll manage lender relationships and ensure the pipeline converts consistently.

What you'll do

  • Lead the sales team and own the sales number-pipeline, conversion, revenue
  • Set sales strategy and drive execution across the team
  • Design and implement sales processes: lead qualification, follow-up cadences, CRM discipline
  • Direct and develop team members to hit targets consistently
  • Manage relationships with lending partners to ensure deals move quickly
  • Build accountability systems for internal teams and external partners
  • Collaborate with product, operations, credit, and tech teams to remove friction and improve conversion
  • Develop and mentor team members; build the next generation of sales leaders

What we're looking for

  • 5-10 years in sales, business development, or commercial roles
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or B2B preferred but not required
  • Track record of building or significantly improving sales processes
  • Strong communication skills; ability to build trust with both borrowers and institutional lenders
  • Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders at financial institutions

  • Competitive base (PHP 150-250k monthly)
  • Performance-based commissions up to 100% of base.
