We are a mission-driven fintech startup currently in a pre-operational, pre-revenue stage. Registered in the United Kingdom, we are preparing to expand into the Philippine market by securing an Operator of Payment System (OPS) license. Our goal is to build a high-speed, technologically advanced payment infrastructure tailored for the Philippines, with a long-term roadmap for scaling across Asia. We are building a lean, remote-first culture that prioritizes automation, engineering excellence, and a deep obsession with user experience.
The Opportunity – Head of Product
We are seeking a visionary Head of Product to join us as a founding team member. This is an opportunity to build from the ground up and define the product vision, strategy, and execution. To ensure flexibility for both parties, this initial engagement is remote and part-time, with a clear trajectory toward a full-time leadership role as we scale. You will be integrated into the team immediately, helping us prepare for a successful launch and ensuring our product strategy aligns with our mission-driven goals.
Compensation and Executive Path
As a founding member, your initial compensation is profit-based, structured at 2% of company profit (post-tax, pre-shareholder deduction) with a strict cap of £35,000. Once the startup reaches established milestones, we will move toward a negotiated fixed base salary. Exceptional candidates may also be considered for an executive leadership role or board-level involvement as we approach our final product launch phase.
Your Impact and Responsibilities
You will lead the translation of our vision into a scalable product strategy and execution roadmap. Working closely with our software builders, you will define product requirements, establish engineering standards, and ensure efficient delivery without compromising quality. You will champion a user-first approach, leverage automation to maintain operational efficiency, and refine internal policies to support a world-class product experience.
Requirements
BSc in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience in product management, preferably within fintech or payment systems.
Proven ability to lead product teams and collaborate with engineers to deliver complex technical products.
Strong expertise in product strategy, technical documentation, and structured decision-making.
An entrepreneurial mindset with comfort in remote-first, high-growth startup environments.
Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on execution and user-centric design.
