Global Head of Learning Experience

Location: Sheridan, Mandaluyong

Shift: Mon-Fri, 7AM – 4PM

Arrangement: Hybrid, Full-time

Primary objectives:

Provide strategic global leadership for the Learning Experience function, directing the design, development, and delivery of transformative, industry-leading learning programs that close performance, skills, and behavioural gaps while maintaining rigorous compliance with Registered Training Organization (RTO) audit, governance, and regulatory standards.

Lead the entire Learning Experience Team, including instructional design and compliance, to create highly engaging, accessible, and outcomes-driven solutions across diverse modalities (remote/online, instructor-led, blended, multimedia-rich). These solutions integrate evidence-based adult learning principles and emerging technologies to boost learner engagement, completion rates, knowledge retention,and on-the-job application.

Drive innovation in corporate learning, aligning with 2025–2026 trends such as AI-driven personalization, learning in the flow of work, microlearning, gamification, and human-AI collaboration (accelerating deep development, skills-based learning, and real-time adaptability).

Deliver measurable business impact through company-wide compliance training, internal education audits, and professional development offerings (CPE/CPD webinars)

Key Responsibilities:

Global Learning Design & Innovation Leadership:

+ Establish and continually evolve global pillars, guidelines, and frameworks for exceptional, learner-centric design rooted in evidence-based practices and emerging trends

+ Spearhead the Learning Experience Revolution by crafting cutting-edge, multimodal programs (remote, online, instructor[1]led, blended) that incorporate AI personalization, gamification, microlearning, immersive elements, and adaptive pathways to maximise engagement, progression, and completion

+ Infuse creativity, innovation, and technology (e.g., human-AI collaboration tools) to create industry-game-changing experiences aligned with accounting best practices and business needs

Team Leadership & Development

+ Lead, coach, and upscale the global Learning Experience Team (design and compliance), embedding company values, culture, and service excellence

+ Foster cross-functional collaboration with leaders, SMEs, and trainers to co-design groundbreaking solutions that bridge skills and performance gaps

+ Build team capability in advanced design practices, accounting concepts, regulatory compliance, and innovative tools

Compliance, Governance & Quality Assurance

+ Ensure all programs and materials fully comply with RTO standards, financial regulations, training organisation guidelines, and Ab² Brand Guidelines

+ Oversee company-wide compliance training, internal education audits, and development/delivery of CPE/CPD webinars

+ Implement and refine engagement/effectiveness metrics (e.g., completion rates, interaction data, retention assessments, on-job application) to drive continuous improvement and demonstrate business impact

Program Delivery & Operational Excellence

+ Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent global learning projects, ensuring alignment to audience needs, clear writing styles, and accessibility

+ Champion diverse, engaging methods that attract learners and promote progression through modules and pathways

Qualifications / Skills:

+ Minimum 5+ years leading high-performing global instructional design or learning experience teams (preferably in professional services, accounting/finance, or RTO-regulated environments)

+ Recognized leadership in instructional design, learning experience design (LXD), and program delivery, informed by modern frameworks (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, 70:20:10, design thinking)

+ Expertise in global L&D trends, including AI-enabled personalization, microlearning, gamification, immersive technologies, and learning in the flow of work (aligned with 2025–2026 HBR insights on AI acceleration vs. deep development and McKinsey's emphasis on real-time, skills-based learning)

+ Proficiency designing multimodal programs that drive engagement and completion through interactive elements, storytelling, adaptive pathways, social learning, and multimedia integration

+ Strong program and project management skills, with proven delivery of multiple complex, concurrent global initiatives

+ Deep understanding of adult learning principles, behavioural science, and accessibility standards

+ Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills, blending expertise with engaging delivery

+ Familiarity with learning technologies (LMS/LXP platforms, authoring tools, AI tools, analytics suites
