Role Purpose
Lead overall financial management, including accounting, treasury, compliance, budgeting, and strategic financial planning.
Act as a key business partner to the President and leadership team to ensure financial integrity, operational efficiency, profitability, and sustainable cash flow in line with the company's growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Lead all finance and accounting functions of the company.
- Develop and execute financial strategies that support business goals and expansion plans.
- Provide financial insights, forecasts, and recommendations to guide executive decisions.
- Drive profitability, margin improvement, and cost optimization programs.
- Support business development, investments, and partnerships through financial analysis.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Track performance versus budget and key KPIs.
- Analyze revenues, margins, costs, and profitability by business unit.
- Present regular financial and management reports to senior leadership.
Accounting & Controls
- Ensure timely and accurate financial statements in line with accounting standards and regulations.
- Oversee general accounting, AP/AR, fixed assets, inventory accounting, and tax reporting.
- Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
- Lead external audits and coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and regulators.
Treasury & Cash Management
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships.
- Oversee fund management, credit facilities, and financing arrangements.
- Optimize working capital and cash utilization.
- Monitor foreign exchange exposure and financial risks where applicable.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with Philippine laws, tax regulations, and corporate governance standards.
- Identify financial and operational risks and implement mitigation measures.
- Protect company assets through strong control and risk management practices.
Operational & Business Support
- Partner with operations, sales, procurement, and production to improve financial efficiency.
- Support pricing, contract reviews, and project profitability analysis.
- Champion process improvements and digital transformation in finance.
People Leadership
- Lead and develop the finance, accounting, treasury, and audit teams.
- Build a culture of accountability, integrity, continuous improvement, and high performance.
- Implement training and succession planning to strengthen finance capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- CPA preferred; MBA or advanced finance qualification an advantage.
- 10–15 years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience.
- Deep experience in FP&A, treasury, taxation, controllership, and corporate finance.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine financial regulations, taxation, and compliance.
- Proven leadership and people management experience.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- High integrity, professionalism, and business acumen.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and financial management software.
