Job Description
As Head of Finance, you will:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal financial requirements.
- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to senior management.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and financial institutions.
- Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team to achieve performance goals.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks to safeguard the company's assets.
- Drive cost efficiency and optimise the company's financial performance.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Head Of Finance Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA or CFA is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven ability to analyse financial data and make strategic decisions.
- Experience in the financial services industry is highly advantageous.
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally within fintech, financial services, or regulated environments
