About the Role
BCS Technology is entering its next phase of growth and scouting our next Group People & Culture Manager that understands what it means to work in a technical environment with a developer mid-sprint, someone who builds career frameworks, and not just HR processes.
What You Will Own
This role sits at the intersection of people strategy and technical culture with ownership of:
- Career Architecture: Design and operationalize career pathways for developers, engineers, QA, and DevOps practitioners across global delivery centers.
- Performance Management: Evolve our framework to a structured, system-supported, continuous feedback model.
- Hiring & Onboarding: Partner with delivery and resource management to translate pipeline demand into proactive talent acquisition and onboard people into culture and standards from day one.
- L&D: Design a group-wide training catalogue, selecting and implementing LMS, and building structured upskilling pathways in partnership with the CTO and practice leads.
- Team Health: Establish a regular rhythm of team health assessments, pulse surveys, and structured listening mechanisms, spot burnout early, and champion a culture where high performance is celebrated and underperformance is addressed constructively.
- Resource Advocacy: Act as the voice of the workforce in leadership conversations. Translate what you hear on the ground, into structured recommendations for the leadership team.
What You Bring
Exceptional communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills, with the emotional intelligence to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics across cultures and time zones including:
- At least 5 years progressive experience in People & Culture, HR Business Partnering, or technical team leadership, inside a technology company, software development, or IT services environment.
- CIPD Level 5/7 or a degree in HR Management or Organizational Psychology.
- Demonstrated experience managing or supporting globally distributed, multi-geography workforces, ideally across Asian delivery centers.
- A track record of designing and implementing career frameworks, performance management systems, and L&D programs from the ground up.
