Purpose of Role
The Lead Purchase to Pay – Central Entities is accountable for overseeing global PTP performance reporting, governance, compliance, and insights across all in-scope entities. This role ensures the integrity of PTP data, drives visibility of operational KPIs, supports audit readiness, and partners with global stakeholders to enforce standardization and controls. Working with the Service Delivery Manager, Group Finance, Continuous Improvement team and GPOs, the role drives performance transparency, strengthens risk control, and ensures alignment with global service delivery frameworks.
Job Role and Responsibilities
The scope of the role will continue to broaden, but key areas of responsibility are as follows:
People(Individual Contributor Leadership)
- Act as a global PTP subject-matter expert and mentor to process teams.
- Support capability-building across global PTP operations through reporting insights.
Partnership
- Collaborate with Global Finance, Service Delivery Managers, Audit, Compliance and CI teams.
- Act as the single point of contact for Group-level PTP reporting, control insights, and governance.
Operational
- Lead end-to-end PTP performance reporting including KPIs, control compliance and operational insights.
- Ensure accurate vendor reconciliations, aged balances visibility, and risk escalation frameworks.
- Monitor global compliance with PTP policies, payment timeliness, and audit requirements.
- Drive standardization, process integrity, and reporting accuracy across all markets.
Other
- Support internal and external audits and respond to market / group audit inquiries.
- Support global audit and compliance reviews, responding to PTP-related group-level inquiries.
- Support and/or lead transformation, automation and standardization projects. Own and drive improvement projects across multiple complex and evolving business models.
- Have an understanding of the end-to-end process areas, the interdependencies with the wider team to optimize the end-to-end solution to a common business aligned viewpoint.
- Present (when required) process related content summarized to the appropriate level relevant to stakeholders in the organization.
Skills and experience required
- 5+ years experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader capacity. Experience in GBS / Shared Services, fast-moving consumer Goods (FMCG) companies, and experience working in a multinational and multicultural environment ideally in a Head Office / Group environment.

- Strong knowledge of PTP policy, controls, vendor reconciliation, and operational governance.
- Proven experience in performance reporting, KPI management and insights generation.
- Experience in Power BI / Advanced Excel / SAP ERP systems.
- Experience of complex, fragmented finance systems landscapes.
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., AAT, ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) strongly preferred.
