Group Financial Controller

The Group Financial Controller is a senior finance leader responsible for overseeing the overall financial management, reporting, and internal control framework of a multi-entity and multi-branch organization. The role requires a highly structured and systems-oriented professional with strong controllership experience and a proven ability to design, implement, and scale finance processes across complex business structures.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Reporting

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close across all entities

• Ensure timely and accurate consolidated management reporting

• Build and maintain weekly/monthly executive financial dashboards

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Systems & Process Improvement

• Design and implement scalable finance systems, SOPs, and workflows

• Improve finance team productivity, accountability, and reporting cadence

• Lead ERP/accounting system optimization and automation initiatives

• Standardize processes across all brands/business units

Controls & Governance

• Strengthen internal controls, approvals, and financial governance

• Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and statutory requirements

• Manage risk controls around procurement, disbursements, and cash handling

Business Performance Analysis

• Develop profitability reporting by branch, doctor, treatment, and brand

• Support ROI analysis on new clinic openings / capex investments

• Provide financial insights for strategic business decisions

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and restructure finance team where necessary

• Drive accountability, speed, and professional standards within finance

• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, HR, Marketing, Procurement

The ideal candidate is a strategic yet hands-on finance leader who can ensure financial integrity, operational efficiency, and robust reporting standards across all business units.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting
• Minimum 5+ years in a senior controllership or finance leadership role (e.g., Group Controller, Finance Director, Assistant CFO)
• Strong experience in multi-entity and/or multi-branch organizations
• Proven track record in financial reporting, consolidation, and internal controls
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable finance processes and systems
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, compliance, and audit requirements
• Experience in ERP systems and financial reporting tools is highly preferred
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving ability
