Job Description
This role enhances the quality of our visual communication outputs, aiding WSP in winning work, delivering projects, and marketing our people and business. The position involves collaborating within the team to create and refine high-level, eye-catching presentations under tight deadlines. The candidate should be adept at understanding complex content and conveying it through visual storytelling and impactful design that embodies the WSP brand.
Responsibilities
Main Activities and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)
- Work and collaborate with the wider Enterprise Strategic Bids & BD, Marketing and Communications teams to provide high quality creative outputs for the whole business.
- Provide graphic design/visual communication services supporting our teams tendering for work, delivering projects, marketing our business and people, and delivering on our quality standards.
- Produce high quality visual communication and graphic design outputs including diagrams, maps, infographics, documents, proposals, marketing collateral, etc.
- Provide presentation support to the business, working within company guidelines to produce presentations with impact.
- Design according to WSP's global brand guidelines and those of our clients where required.
- Use Adobe Creative Suite to produce appealing, readable and accessible outputs.
- Collaborate with other creative team members to exchange ideas.
- Coordinate and/or advise on the print and digital requirements of documents.
- Produces, edits, formats, and designs business presentations and documents according to internal or external client needs.
- Convey clean, contemporary, and visually appealing presentations that preserve WSP's branding guidelines (appropriate use of logos, colour, composition, and perspective).
- Create compelling infographics and visualise information presentation in a way that an audience can easily absorb.
- Work under guidance from WSP's Creative Director to provide quality presentations.
- Adopt a flexible approach to your work by adjusting to multiple demands and/or shifting priorities.
Qualifications
Qualifications (Minimum and desirable):
- Diploma or degree in graphic design, visual communications, or relevant experience.
Experience, skills, and organisational knowledge:
- The Adobe Creative Suite products are your tools of the trade, and you'll have experience in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Typically, 3-7 years of experience in a similar industry, professional services or corporate in-house graphic design role.
- Creative talent and progressive design skills are essential.
- Experience in creating engaging digital and print visualisation pieces.
- Demonstrated English verbal and written communication, strong computer skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 applications including collaboration tools (Teams and SharePoint).
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a sense of humour.
- Efficient organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects within a deadline-driven environment.
