Job Description

Job Purpose

To provide timely and accurate report required by management and regulatory authorities (BIR, IC, SEC and other regulatory agencies)

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Internal Financial Reporting. Prepares financial closing process; prepares mancom report per product, channel and location; prepares monthly Profit and Losses.

  • External Financial Reporting. Prepares quarterly Enhanced Quarterly Reports on Selected Financial Statistics (EQRSF), Financial Reporting Framework 9FRF) and other Financial Corporation Survey (OFCS); Assist in the preparation of schedules and reports for the Annual Statement; assist in the preparation of schedules and reports for the external audit.

  • Bookkeeping. Prepares schedules and reconciliation of the following accounts Death Claims Individual Life & Variable, Maturities & Surrenders and Outstanding claims death, maturities and surrenders.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in accountancy or any Accounting related courses.
  • Preferably with 1-2 years experience in the same role.
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (word, excel, PowerPoint etc.) with data analysis tool.
  • With excellent English communication skills both oral and written.
  • With excellent attention to details.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
