As an FP&A Junior Manager, you'll play an important role in Diageo's performance cycle by delivering accurate reporting, robust forecasts, and actionable insights. You will support planning processes and partner closely with finance stakeholders to ensure highquality financial outcomes. This is a handson analytical role with focus in specific PL lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning & Forecasting:
- Participate in annual planning process and finalization of AOP.
- Ensure timely and reliable forecasting cycles, supported by robust financial analysis and insights.
- Maintain monthly reporting rhythms, including landing & outlook.
- Ensure all market, profit-center, and functional inputs are complete, aligned, and accurately reflected.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Participate in delivery of monthly management reporting processes (various business performance management reports, landing report, O&R, working capital/cash flow reporting and forecasting,) and also support deck preparation for related review meetings
- Perform financial analysis to generate insights that support operational decision-making.
- Deliver timely, accurate management reports.
- Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with In-Market Finance and business divisions on actuals performance and forecast.
- Act as a financial advisor to stakeholders on operational concerns or enquiries
- Build strong relationships with market stakeholders, ensuring clarity, transparency, and data-driven insights.
- Controls, Governance & Process Excellence
- Ensure adherence to Diageo financial policies, procedures, and control frameworks across teams and markets.
- Help improve financial tools, reporting processes, and ways of working to increase efficiency, accuracy, and visibility.
- Resolve day to day problems independently, applying sound judgment based on business knowledge and company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 35 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial controlling, or management reporting.
- Good analytical skills and working knowledge of Excel, with exposure to systems like SAP/BW.
- Ability to work independently with good accountability.
- Experience in FMCG or shared services environments is advantageous.
