- Ensure compliance with group accounting policies for month-end closing.
- Perform in-depth legal entity review of financial statements.
- Provide accurate, fact-based, and action-oriented performance reporting.
- Resolve complex accounting issues and ensure proper accounting treatment.
- Serve as the point of contact for the Regional CFO.
- Drive pre-close meetings to identify and address issues.
- Perform thorough balance sheet controlling.
- Consult business controllers on specific judgments around accruals and intercompany transactions.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Financial Controller Should Have
- Bachelor's degree in accountancy, finance, business management, or related area.
- 8-10 years of relevant working experience in finance.
- Knowledgeable in IFRS and/or GAAP.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems; SAP expertise required.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn.
