About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Corporate Controller responsible for overseeing all financial operations including accounting, reporting, compliance, and internal controls. The Corporate Controller leads the accounting organization, ensuring timely and accurate financial delivery while driving continuous improvement, automation, and operational excellence.
This role manages the end-to-end accounting lifecycle, partners closely with cross-functional teams, and plays a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, deep technical accounting expertise, and a passion for modernizing finance processes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, payroll, tax reporting, inventory control, and revenue recognition.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements, forecasts, and budgets.
- Lead efficient month-end and year-end close processes, including ledger reviews and reconciliations.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
- Assign workload, supervise, and mentor the accounting team to ensure high-quality output and compliance.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and lead audit activities.
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and financial system enhancements.
- Develop financial models to support long-term planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives.
- Manage local and federal tax compliance requirements and ensure timely submissions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on finance-related projects and organizational initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant accounting or financial management experience.
- At least two (2) years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- Stable employment history.
- Experience with Dynamics 365, Microsoft Excel, and financial analysis tools.
- Skilled in accounting system transitions and process automation.
- Background in financial statement preparation, payroll processing, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage shifting priorities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Curiosity and adaptability toward emerging technologies, automation, and AI in finance.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
