Title: Financial Controller
Location: Manila, Philippines
About the Role and Business:
- Renewable energy developer
- Lead the financial management, reporting, and control functions for the company's renewable energy development and project execution activities
- Lead and manage a team of financial professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full spectrum of finance operations
- Lead and develop local finance teams, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, compliance, project budgets and internal controls
- Ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Drive process improvements and automation across finance functions to scale with business growth
- Support project finance activities, including SPV accounting, equity injections, lender reporting, and financial covenants.
- Partner with development, EPC, and operations teams on project budgets and financial discipline.
- Manage treasury, cash management, banking relationships, and payment approvals.
- Strengthen internal controls, financial processes, and risk management frameworks.
Key Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (CA, CPA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 8 years of experience, preferably in a renewable energy company, investment fund, or infrastructure platform
- Proven track record in regional finance leadership, including experience working with cross-border teams
- Strong knowledge of financial operations, reporting, tax structuring, and M&A support
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
