The Financial Analyst plays a key role in managing financial processes, providing insights and enabling data-driven decision-making within a fast-paced IT and AI-driven organization. This role encompasses accounts payable/receivable, ledger and bookkeeping management, profit and loss analysis, cost and investment evaluations, and advanced financial data storytelling to support strategic and operational goals. As part of an innovation-driven corporation, the Financial Analyst is expected to leverage digital tools, analytics, and automation to optimize financial operations and deliver actionable insights that support business growth, scalability, and profitability.
Financial Operations
- Manage and monitor accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial records and entries.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Conduct profit and loss analysis, identifying trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and monitor cost and investment models to assess business cases and ROI for IT/AI projects, initiatives, and partnerships.
- Provide financial forecasts, budgeting support, and scenario modeling to guide business decisions.
Data & Insights
- Translate raw financial and operational data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decision-making.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate financial performance and business impact effectively.
- Utilize data storytelling to present financial findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Business Partnering
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Project, Delivery, etc) to align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Advise leadership on cost optimization, investment opportunities, and risk management.
- Partner with cross-functional teams in protocol, SOPs, and system and tools development efforts in streamlining processes.
- Support digital finance transformation through process automation and the use of advanced analytics tools.
