Financial Analyst

Job Description:

• Leads end-to-end financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with timelines and business objectives.
• Develops and maintains project-specific financial models and variance analysis reports to support data-driven decision-making.
• Monitors financial performance of projects in real time, identifying risks, trends, and opportunities for optimization.
• Proactively identifies and escalates financial risks, issues, and deviations from plan, recommending corrective actions.
• Establishes, tracks, and reports key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for each project.
• Conducts market research, benchmarking, and comparable company analysis to support project feasibility and strategic planning.
• Provides actionable financial insights and recommendations to improve project profitability and efficiency.
• Prepares and presents clear, concise financial updates and reports (monthly/quarterly/project-based) to stakeholders and management.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with project managers, accounting, and finance teams to ensure accurate financial tracking and alignment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or any related field.
• 3–5 years experience in accounting and finance
• Experience in energy industry preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Technical expertise in SAP and Anaplan preferred
• High standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
• Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
• Attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills. Presentation skills is a plus.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and basic financial modelling.
• Technical know-how in SAP is preferred.
